Replacing the Screen on a HP G6 or G7 Chromebook

This video is about replacing screens on HP G6 and G7 Chromebooks. I figured I would share a few techniques for replacing the screens without damaging the Chromebook. They are a little challenging because of the sticky tape used to secure the screens. You will hear me repeat over and over about how slow and how careful you have to go while working on the screen and the bezel. It seems taking your time really helps work the glue and snap joints loose. If you haven’t ever swapped a screen on one of these devices that black tape can be a nightmare. Hopefully this helps at least one person lol!
